Cantaloupe Peach Almond Smoothie

As summer is progressing, I wish to have some cool drink in the evening time rather than the usual coffee or tea. So came the Cantaloupe Peach Almond smoothie. I just threw in some cantaloupe with peaches I had in my fridge into a blender to make a light drink. Then I thought of getting it bit rich, by adding few almonds. Also I added, a spoon of brown sugar for little more sweetness.

There was no particular reason to use brown sugar, except for the reason, that I just wanted to get rid of some left over brown sugar from my pantry.. :)

Things needed
Cantaloupe - 1 Cup (Chopped)
Peaches - 1 Cup (Chopped)
Almond - 5 nos.
Brown Sugar - 1 tbsp

Blend all the above ingredients into a thick rich smoothie to be enjoyed chilled with a sprinkle of brown sugar over it.

The mild tanginess of peach mixed with pulpy cantaloupe along with the chewy almond bits, made the smoothie really delicious. Addition of brown sugar, made no difference to taste, except for adding light brown color to the smoothie.
